This game is super underrated. Played it for the first time just this year, and it is the perfect victory-lap for FFX. FFX may be my favorite, but FFX2's feeling of sorrow, loss, and readiness to say goodbye to memories underneath the cheery exterior. It comes together wonderfully, in no small part because of this amazing soundtrack. Abyss of the Farplane sneaking in the main theme as we prepare to rise to the challenge. From the moment I heard Memory of Lighwaves as the opener, I knew it was one of the most beautiful pieces I'd ever heard.

Most of the game is mid. Is it weird that the thing I found most impressive about it is that it has perfect japanese voice synch? unlike any other game I've played that I remember.

Everytime i watch this movie ( atleast 5 times a year) i get choked up. Its such a masterpeice. I wish there was more. I long for more, truly.

Gotta say, one of the best OST in the entire series. While they made some wierd choices with the story, I still love the feeling of the world post Sin and how it evolved. Great childhood memories, I think I was 14 when the game came out and playing it was somehow soothing and gave me perspective, that the world and people change with time and it’s a part of life I have to embrace with optimism. Very nostalgic inducing OST, hope it’ll be on Spotify one day.
